+470 It's pretty stupid to say the statement "macs are better than pcs" or vise versa. Both have advantages and disadvantages and different capabilities. It all boils down to which one do you find most useful to your personal computing needs. amirite?

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. This post is the most igborant thing I have heard said on this website about computers so far. It disappoints me to see all of the votes.

How so?

igbornat? lol

*ignorant. Sorry, I'm on a phone.

Exactly, a really basic way to break it down is to say that PCs are superior when it comes to business and such, but Macs are more practical for use with art and media.

I agree, if you need a BSOD, go PC, if you need a user-friendly-fast-"i won't freeze for no apparent reason" computer, go mac >;D!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've had a PC since Windows 95 and I have never seen a BSOD. If you're not stupid about how you use a computer, it won't crash, EVER.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol, you suck at life ;D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's fine if you can't afford a mac, though, don't beat yourself up over it <3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Pffffffffffffffft :')

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Bsod?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Pimp juice): Blue screen of death, that's what people get when their windows computer crashes.

(.): @776958 (.): I have been using windows since 2000, and I, also, have never seen a blue screen of death(my win 2000 machine did freeze a lot, but it was a pretty crappy computer and that was the only problem I have had with windows), and I have used XP, Vista( SP2), and now 7. I was just telling him what a BSOD was

Oh sorry, didn't pay enough attention to who posted what, sorry! :)

That's fine

Macs are prettier than PC's. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeahno.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Macs are still easier to use no matter what. If you MUST have PC based programs, then get a Mac with parallels (program that lets you run PC programs).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they claim to be easier to use. personally i find them harder.

PCs are for fat losers. :O) Posted from my iPhone

by Anonymous 13 years ago

PCs are better for office workers and computer gamers, while Macs are better for artists and people who need to do multple things at once. I've used both, I should know.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Easy way to break it down for people. Mac>PC.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have one of both. For raw power, for things like gaming or rendering (I'm a 3D artist), I use the pc (more power for the buck). for everything else, I use the Mac.

amen.

Look I use both actually, I use pc's for hacking stuff and game play but for general everyday stuff I use my mac. The pc's I've used freeze a lot and the mac's a lot faster. The mac was also something I had to buy used because new would be far out of my price range. Generally speaking I love my mac :D but it has flaws.
