He can't help the circumstances he was born into anymore than anyone else can help theirs. I could see if he was bragging about it or something, but if you were in his position would you actually turn down a BMW and get a minimum wage job to get a clunker? If anything you'd at least accept the BMW and get a job to pay for something like clothes or everyday amenities to have at least some responsibilities.
