But not all cartoons look the same... For example Timmy Turner and Jimmy Neutron look different even though their both cartoons

It's like when we watch shows like House or the news. Humans are their cartoons.

They would be exactly the same. Animated. Why would their cartoons be real people?? Doesn't make sense to me.

Because in the cartoon world, animated is what they normally look like. Flesh and bones does not exist, and in the real word animated people do not exist. So if cartoons are watching cartoons and it is animated, that would be like us watching cartoons and its flesh and bones. If you have noticed in cartoons that the characters can survive a 10,000 feet fall and such, and we can't, so if the animated cartoons are watching animated cartoons, then they would be watching things they normally do (falling off cliffs, getting hit by pans in the head, breaking every bone in the body, etc...) but if they're watching humans going through the same situations but probably dying then that would make more sense... i guess. i hope this made sense. i tried to explain it as good as i could. just one of those things that's hard to explain, ya know?
