+308 If you want to get technical about it, there is no such thing as "unnatural" because humans are animals and therefore everything we do is natural, amirite?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jrh8VVwMI4 ^ This video is pretty cool, because I think it explains why "unnatural" does not exist for more or less the reason that you stated.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I watched it. He's a smart guy.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm glad I watched that video, he pretty much just used basic logic that anyone should understand.

My definition of natural is something that is formed/occurs without any outside animals acting on it. Everything animals do isn't natural either. If a squirrel buries an acorn, does that mean acorns being underground is natural? No

I could make any post on this site untrue by using "my" definition of words. GTFO with your maade-up definitions

But this site is made for us to voice our opinions, I'm just saying why I voted "No way". No need to get your panties in a bunch.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not wearing panties, I browse the web nude.

Well, yeah because an acorn is a seed. But even if it was a rock instead, the squirrel is natural, the dirt is natural, and the rock is natural, so if the squrrel chooses to put the rock in the dirt, that is natural.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I didn't think that one through, I just saw a squirrel outside and, well, yeah.... But I'm saying that if an animal makes a choice to do something that wouldn't have occurred without the help of the animal, it's unnatural.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...I'm pretty sure it is natural for acorns to be underground, because, correct me if I'm wrong, they're seeds... and that's how seeds grow...?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

its actually really weird to think about, cause really, everything must of come from something natural, i mean things can't just poof out of no where, you need materials for them, so everything is actaully made out of natural things, like if you've every played the game doodle god

"My cheek bones are not accented enough in the sunlight. It's only natural I'd get botox, amirite?"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

...Just no. That makes no sense compared to this post. At all. Good try. But fail nonetheless.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Post says everything we do is natural. I don't think getting things like that is very natural.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nature encompasses EVERYTHING. People are animals and Botox is made out of naturally occurring substances.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not talking about the substance. I'm talking about the action of altering something that IS natural. I wholeheartedly disagree with the notion that everything in life is natural. It's just my opinion.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You seem to be missing the point that everything is a part of nature. But whatever, suit yourself.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No need to get bent just because I disagree with your logic :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Too late now, I will not be unbended. :p

If you were really Morgan Freeman, I'd make a perverted joke. Alas, I shall not divulge an amirite user in my fantasies with the man in your picture. D:

Natural means naturally occurring or is/happens by itself and most things humans use and do aren't naturally occurring. I consider basic elements of life (being born, growth and death, eating, sleeping) natural but not making high fructose corn syrup.
