The first Matrix was good. The other two... not so much.

The first is so good it has so much philosophy and is hella entertaining, the second is just okay, the third has too little philosophy and is all action...

1st Movie: Really awesome action, entertaining as all heck, and an intriguing plot 2nd Movie: Wasn't really necessary, not as interesting as the first, but it did have some nice action scenes 3rd Movie: Not all that great story wise, a bit too action oriented, but I do think it gave the trilogy a good ending (but not as good as the ending of the first movie) As far as trilogies go, The Matrix wasn't bad. The first was by far the best (as the first movie usually is), but I'd say the other two are still worth watching.
