+602 It must be weird to watch Toy Story 3 in Spanish, because then the part where Buzz Lightyear gets set to "Spanish mode" would make absolutely no sense. amirite?

I imagine it would be about as weird as watching Selena in Spanish was considering they make it a big point in the movie that she can't speak Spanish well

no it's not actually like that. my best friend is Spanish and she said that he talks in a different accent from a different part of Spain so it sounds completely different.

Kind of reminds me of an episode of Detective Conan where they're all learning they're names in Chinese. And I just happened to be watching it in Chinese. So they're like, "Oh, oh! My name is Mao Li Lan, what would that be in Chinese? Mao Li Lan?! Oh my God, that sounds so weird!"

Once upon a time, my sister was watching Cheetah Girls 2 in Spanish (for those of you that don't keep up on crappy Disney Channel movies, the Cheetah girls are in Spain and are going to do a concert there), and there was a scene where one of the girls was suggesting to do a song in Spanish. And another one of the girls said, in Spanish, something about not being able to speak Spanish. I couldn't help but laugh.

I actually did watch it in Spanish, in Colombia, and I didn't realize much of a difference, except for a slight accent change. It wasn't until a friend mentioned it to me that I realized Buzz spoke Spanish in that part in the English movie.

Buzz changes his accent, but keeps talking spanish. He starts talkng with a Latin American accent, and changes to a Spanish(from Spain) accent. LatinAmericans can hear the difference between these two accents. It is just like if buzz started with an Americanaccent, and ended with a British accent
