+471 It's pointless and stupid to have a commercial in the middle of commercials to tell you that your program will return after more commercials it's like, "Oh really Mr. Commercial Guy? I thought the program grew legs and ran away to a different channel, thanks for assuring me the program will return, I know I can always count on you!" Amirite?

I think they do that to trick you...because normally I fast forward through the commercials but if I see the logo or whatever I'll push play, and without realiziing it I'll sometimes accidentally watch a commercial or 2

Hahahha it's like, "Gotcha!" and you, *Fall to your knees and scream out "NOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Nah, I feel like I need to ruin my 69 posts when I find or make up a joke related to 69s, I dunno....

I always assumed that that was to attract channel surfers. If they know that a show that they like is on, they can catch it even when the show itself is in break.

That's possible, but what are the chances, a person is channel surfing and they will catch that commercial?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What are the chances that they'll see the commercial if it isn't played?
