The sentence "An even number of punctuation marks doesn't feel right.." actually has 3 punctuation marks in it and doesn't look right. However if you change it to:
An even number of punctuation marks doesn't feel right...
it actually does have an even # of punctuation marks and does "feel right." You seem to have forgotten to include the apostrophe as a punctuation mark. However, if you were just counting the ellipse, and not just all punctuation marks in general, the statement would have been correct.

Maybe I should have posted "in succession" to avoid confusion. I wasn't referring to the entire sentence, who cares how many total punctuation marks there are?

If you don't care then why the hell did you make a post about an even # of punctuation marks? kinda hypocritical don't you think?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Sorry, I was just talking about a couple of the same punctuation mark in a row.

Chill, asshole, it was a joke.
