+313 Your life depends on some type of technology, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Technically, yes. But it depends on your definition of "technology." As humans, we'd definitely need some tool to survive (a way to build a shelter and hunt food). These tools were once considered technology, so in that sense our lives literally depend on it. My life does not, however, depend on my cell phone and lap top (but it would be less convenient if I didn't have these things).

Yes, but in three years, technology will depend on me to survive.

Yes. I rely on computers. Well, not at this moment, but in a few years, I'll be majoring in Computer Science. With that degree, I'll be getting a job as a software engineer. That will be the only thing I know how to do, because of all the hours I put in to it. If I were to go without technology, I would end up on the streets, begging for money and food. I would spend all of my money on online games, not having enough for basic needs, like food and water. I would eventually dehydrate and/or starve, and realize my life would be at an end. I would do something to go out with a bang, like skydiving without a parachute. While I accelerate at 9.81m/s^2, I'll think to myself... "Without technology, my life was "-SPLAT
