When does a tragic event stop being "To soon" and turn into the butt of a joke?.... Im sure if you told a Titanic joke way back in early 1900's people would be like " WOAH ASSHOLE" but now its fine if you tell one. amirite?

The too soon period ends after most of the witnesses to that event have died. Except on the Internet. There are no boundaries on the Internet.

For 9/11.... Never. If anyone ever tries to make a joke out of 9/11 they're gonna knocked out no matter how long ago it was

Why? As far as casualties and overall depravity the Holocaust has it beat, hands down. Why is it okay to joke about that?

It isn't... I never said it was ok to joke about that. I think most people joke about hitler himself but I've never heard someone joke about the people that died and suffered In a concentration camp

Really? I've heard several people joke about it. But that's the thing, it's a JOKE. Sometimes people cope with tragedy through humor, sometimes they are just callous. Either way, so what? A joke is a joke. Get a sense of humor or a sense of propriety, you know?

Nah, once the people who aren't born yet become adults, they'll joke about it... at least, the once who weren't raised by really patriotic strict parents
