-103 You find it mildly offensive when people talk about Hogwarts being in England. It's in Scotland. Amirite?

How the fuck can people No Way this? Is it because they disagree with the "you get mildly offended" bit?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

For me its the offended bit. It makes it seem pretentious.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, I suppose. I think the original said "you get mildly offended" (it was over a year ago). But I can see what you're saying, who really cares if someone gets a fact about a book wrong.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, I'd have a conversation, I would have agreed if it said 'Most people don't know that' etc.

It says somewhere that there are enchantment charms placed around the castle so that if a muggle sees it it looks like and old abandoned warehouse. Btw.

Don't they always say London in the movies and stuff? Or was that just me?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ono They caught the train in London. The train then takes them to Scotland, where Hogwarts is located. If the school was in London, they wouldn't really need to go on a ~7 hour train ride

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I live in Scotland and I've never seen it...
