+326 It must be tough being a guy, because girls are always expecting them to be contradictions of themselves. A guy needs to be confident, but not cocky; capable of being spontaneous but still reliable; affectionate but not TOO affectionate, especially in public; devoted but not clingy; etc. amirite?

Girls have to deal with the same type of things; looking our best *all* the time without being high-maintenence(this is a skill the likes of which many straight guys can't even fathom), being confident but not bitchy, cool in front of his friends but not too cool... it sucks just as much for us xD

who says girls are expected to look their best ALL the time? No offense, but if you have a boyfriend that expects you to look your best "*all*" the time, you have a pretty shallow boyfriend.

1) I'm talking about high school as this is obviously what this post refers to; I have a husband, so he knows what I look like in the morning and loves me anyway. 2) I challenge any chick in high school to go to school without any makeup on, in unflattering clothes, and without their hair done- see what kind of response you get, particularly from any guy who you might be involved(or want to be involved) with. Yes, people are shallow as fuck in high school. My point being, those stereotypes are as true as the ones in the original post. Attempt at snarky recrimination: fail.

AND you have to put up with a ton of girls complaining about how hard it is for them when you never said it was easy in the first place!

Those girls are the ones you don't want. If a girl has requirements guys have to meet to be close to her, she needs to grow up. If they would just open their minds they'd know there are all sorts of guys, and any one of them could be brilliant.
