except it didnt cause "most cancers" dumbass
look it up "anonymous" and don't be so angry it shortens your lifespan
In a study involving upwards of 100,000 Japanese citizens from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there were only 400 more cases of cancer than what would be expected from an unexposed area in Japan.
(DanielJames):nuclear bombs release radiation, large doses of radiation cause cancer, its that simple. If you're gonna say some facts quote them am just stating common logic.
I know nuclear radiation is a cause of cancer. The fact remains, a relatively low number of cancer cases in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the result of nuclear radiation. The numbers I posted were from the "Life Span Study." Research it.
The low numbers in Hiroshima and Nagasaki are just a small example of what the nuclear bomb did to humans. Cancer is not a common disease and that's why only around 3000+ people get leukemia(a type of blood cancer) in the US. Compared to the millions of people that live in the US it seems insignificant but it still is an aftermath of the bomb.Radiation doesn't go away right away and its effects still affect us.
