But they are going to be watching her music videos and seeing her concerts. And when I was about 10-11, I was reading People magazines when I was at the doctor's out of boredom, and at my house (and most others) we have the TV in the front room most of the time, and sometimes it's on E!.

Ecaxtly my argument. And Edward, I'm not like that; I never read things like people magazine out of boredom, and in fact I have no interest in the news at all. Besides, who's to say they even know the significance of these things? I was watching a Hannah Montana episode recently and they used the word trampy; certainly when that episode came out I had no clue what that word even meant. If they don't know about it in the first place, it just goes over their heads and doesn't affect them.

I started reading all those celeb magazines at around age 9 because my mom always got them, so yeah they could.

i didnt say they couldnt.... i said theyre not. and seeing as to how mant yeah you ares there are, id say most girls dont read that crap. and not at the age 9. when i was 9 i cut out pictures from magz to make a collage i had no interest what so ever in what they were saying. and hannah montannh isnt in most magazins, and never frequently
