Thinking of your future scares you sometimes, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Even though it's still a few years away, I get really scared when I think about graduation and moving out and going to college.

I have never imagined my future later than me being 18.

3 years and I'm off to college. There's a lot of pressure on me, since I have to start thinking about my studies and what career I'm planning to pursue.

Three years away and you're already thinking about what you'll study on College? Most people don't even confirm their major until early Junior year in College >_>

...I'll be a Sophmore next year, and I already know what college I want to go to and everything. I want to go to UNC Chapel Hill, major in psychology, and minor in literature and writing (my biggest ambition is to be a novelist, but my back up is highschool guidance counselor).

Realistically, you'll probably change your mind about some of that along the way.

@Emperorerror: I find it funny because your comment and the one bellow were complete opposites. Anyway. Yes, my parents want me to start learning and reading up about a few subjects, see what I like. They say I can't be putting it off.
@BellaDolore: Yeah, I wish my future was as clear as yours. ._.
@_Jojo_: I don't doubt it.

@_Jojo_: I wouldn't doubt it either, actually.
@TheXIVthNobody: Eh, my parents have always been sticklers about me getting my crap together, and knowing where I want to be in the next few years. Planning that far ahead just seems normal to me.
