Miley is younger and has a stronger influence on younger girls than Britney does. Britney was an influence when I was younger, but Miley is a newer icon that tweens relate to presently.

Don't hate on me because of my opinions but I like Miley Cyrus a lot better now than before because of how much her music has matured. This doesn't mean I'm changing myself to be like her. And just because Miley is more of a recent teen doesn't make any difference. Britney also had an influence on younger kids as well and Miley's problems certainly don't seem as severe as Britney's. I hate how much heat she gets. Just my thought on this whole thing, though.

I think Britney spears is a better role model because even after her mental breakdown she's recovered well and come out with great music. Not that Miley Cyrus doesn't have some good music but I just admire britney's comeback.

I think they're both terrible role models but I guess I could say Brittney is a bit better because she waited later in life to do questionable things while when Miley turned 18 or 19 she went straight to smoking salvia.
