+453 Every year, commercials show kids getting greedier and greedier during Christmas time, and they are true. Just look around-people all over are either pissed at their parents for not getting them what they wanted or are mad because they only got half of what they wanted. SUCK IT UP YOU GREEDY JERKS! amirite?

See, it's people like you that make the holiday more bearable. It's nice to know that some people are grateful for the little things in life, and realize that they're extremely lucky to have just those, when there are people out there who have so much less.

One of the commercials for Nintendo's DSi said something along the lines of, "Don't you think we deserve something awesome?" with a DSi XL moving across the screen. My kid would have to cure cancer to DESERVE something like that. Those things are like 200 bucks. Without games.

I know people that got things like iPods and cell phones in their stockings. It's so stupid.

This reminds me of Harry Potter, "How many presents are there?...36? But last year, LAST YEAR, I had 37!"

There have been times when I didn't get what I'd hoped for, but I still smiled and said thank you. I mean, they could get you a pencil or something.

Hey, I asked for two small things, received them, and was happy. Not all of us are super greedy.

yep. my dad wanted a list. i asked for a microphone and a couple of cables that was only about 60 bucks. i was happy. that was all i wanted. plus everything thats expensive i like buying on my own, like my two ipod touches, laptop, guitar, 8track, etc. i cant count how many kids came back to school monday with the new ipod touch. i was like the only one who actually bought mine, with my own money.

This year I didnt really ask for anything in particular, but I love pretty much everything I got-sometimes its better to let someone decide what to get you.

my friends are SOO spoiled. one got an ipad, a macbook, and an iphone. another got a macbook, ipod, and an iphone. and another got a 2 macbooks. its pretty pathetic.

I wasn't so much mad that I didn't get what I wanted. I was more annoyed that my dad, who kept spouting that we didn't have money, spent over $1,000 on his wife and not even 250 on his three kids. Then rambled that it wasn't about the gifts when his wife also spent about $1,000. This is the same man that when it came to my high school graduation, I had to pay for everything, and I didnt get a gift or at least a card, but when my brother graduated he got my brother an expensive laptop. I was more of an honours student than my brother and graduated with scholarships and academic honours. Sorry to rant but I'm tired of being called greedy for expecting someone to do gifts equally. For goodness sake, one of her gifts was a pinky ring... Who wears that but a pimp?!!

I feel bad for you :( I wish you success in all your academic and career endeavours, so that you become totally awesome and show Mr. Hippo-Critter McMeanyBottoms just how big of a douche he is. What you need is a Fairy GodScholarship! # Muffin is a good, smart kid # # whom no one understands # # Step(?)mom and dad, so meanly, always treating them real bad # "Pay it yourself, TWERP!" # Doom and gloom up in their room is broken instantly # # 'Cause their awesome scholarship will grant their every wish # Cuz in re-a-li-ty, # #it is his SCHOH-larship# *continues singing badly in hope to cheer Muffin up*

I probably just suffer from Youngest Sibling Syndrome, but I feel like my parents always treat my sisters better. I'll be asking to go clothes shopping for over a month because all my shirts have holes, but the second my sisters mentions wanting new jeans, they run off to get her stuff. My mother also complains about not having any money, but then she goes on eBay and buys stuff we'll never use.

Hmm I'm the middle child. Maybe that explains it.

I know this girl who tweeted about how she hates her parents because she got an iPod touch instead of an iPad. Oh, and she's 13.
