You mean part one... you haven't seen the rest. It could suck for all we know.

Yes... that is true.

I made this before the second part came out.

I didn't like part 1 as much... i really like seeing everything go on at Hogwarts! Part 2 was my favorite movie, but they're all really close, I love them all :)

Part 2 was okay. They pretty much left out everything concerning Adriana and Dumbledore's search for the Deathly Hallows. They left out Remus and Tonks son. The also left out Colin's death and brushed over the deaths that did occur. They left a lot of the minor plot lines unfinished. They pretty much only summed up the major plot. They didn't do a very good job at explaining how Harry survived and how he was and eighth horcrux.

fair enough. I read all the books except the 6th and 7th, so I wasn't looking at it like that. still loved the movie though! gotta read those last two books as soon as im done with college apps and pottermore is finally out for everyone!
by Anonymous12 years ago
You really need to read those last 2 books! It took me a little under two days each to read them. I loved the 6 th book! It is one of my favorites. I love 3 and 5 too although not most people liked 5, but then again I really don't like the 4th book , but most people do. I think order of the books is 6,3,5,7,4,1,2.

Chamber of secrets an Prisoner of Azkaban

I hate all of the movies.

Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite.

I thought the first part was good, I just don't think it's the best movie out of the series. But that's probably just because it was just the first part, and the climax of the book wasn't until the second part. The two parts together are awesome :) Or at least I expect they will be, haven't been able to watch them one right after the other yet, obviously.

Prisoner of Azkaban and Sorcerer's Stone
by Anonymous12 years ago
The first one was definitely the best.
by Anonymous12 years ago
No fucking way. The first 2 anally raped all the others.
by Anonymous12 years ago
if by "movie" you mean "book", then yes. Deathly Hallows was the best book. Definitely NOT the best movie. Any of the first three would fill that place nicely. Otherwise it was all downhill from there.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that I died.

If there can be a best one out of THE WORST SERIES OF MOVIES EVER.
Those movies were terrible and I challenge anyone to try to convince me that those movies even have the right to even be called Harry Potter movies.
No seriously, you can try and use whatever logic you want. I will listen and not just make up shit or just say you're stupid to prove you wrong. My only weapons and defense will be logic and the actual facts of the epic tale of Harry Potter.
Go on. Try. I want you to.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I think youre exaggerating a bit. Tell me why you thought they were bad. I really want to know. I can't really say anything about the books, I only read up to Hargrid saving Harry in the first book. I became a fan off the movies alone, so I want to hear your thoughts.

Even scene about the third or forth movie came out I have hated the movies , and for a long time I didn't know why. But after thinking about it A LOT and reading the books A LOT and re-watching the movies, and also thinking about other book series and their movies, I came to the conclusion that the Harry potters movies do more than just alter the story line a tad to make them movie compatible. The movies change the essences of key relationships and the general mod of the story. They also ruin a lot of the really wonderful twist and plot lines that J.K. Rowling put into the story. Now I know that movies can never really be what the books are, and they have to change things. But other books have been turned into movies and they still retain the general story and purpose of the book. I have a friend who is just as obsessed with the Lord of the rings books as I am with Harry Potter, and while he still finds the Lord of the Rings movies not nearly as good as the books he still like them. He also agrees with me that the Harry Potter movies are terrible and fail on a level that most books-made-movies don't.

I think the movies fail to explain things as key to the main story line as the relationship between Harry and Dumbledore and even Dumbledore's character.
Also don't even get me STATED on how badly the screwed up harry and hermione's relationship. These are literally only a tiny fraction of the big problems I have with the movie that go to a deeper level that things like the fact Harry's eye in the movie aren't even green (which by the way still bother me, But I can acknowledged that they don't REALLY matter.)

I downvoted you because it was about Harry Potter.
