Except his personal situation. He got a divorce during the Temple of Doom, hence hearts being torn out.

Lucas didn't direct Indiana Jones. Spielbergh directed it and Lucas produced it iirc.

Yeah they also had that same arrangement for Episode V. I probably should have said "produced" instead.
