when i was little i thought they took a huge glass ball and dropped it and it shattered.. i was pretty disappointed when i actually saw it for the first time

My cousin (who's eight) stayed up for the first time and watched it drop with me. Afterwards I asked him what he though and he was silent for a few minutes before saying "It needed to explode. Tell them I am greatly disapointed with them." and then walked out of the room shaking his head.
