+523 Oh you remember when an Apple was just a fruit? Well that's funny because you're 15 and Apple has been around since the 70's, amirite?

oh well he buys some stock from Apple

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or as he refers to it: "Some fruit company"

I am 15 and I remember when to me... An apple was just a fruit because I had no clue or care for computers.

Why would anyone use "an apple" to refer to a product of "Apple?" That's implying that people generalize its products with its brand name. I don't know about you, but my computer is my Mac and my MP3 player is my iPod, neither are my Apple. My apple is my fruit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's a group on facebook. they're referring to the company, not the specific products.

Too bad Apple was only popular starting from 1998–2005, 2001 giving the first iPod ever. It's actually after 2005 that they got good computers (famous) with Intel and whatnot. Get your facts straight and stop using false logic - just because it existed at that year does not mean it was big then and anyone really knew what Apple is except a fruit.

Macintosh computers have been popular since they were first made. The first one, the 128K, sold 70,000 models in the first 3 months. "Get your facts straight and stop using false logic."

I did get my facts straight, and looked it up again. Sure "Macintosh" was pretty popular in the very beginning (for a little while) but then they completely blew everything, and only then they made iPods and made "Apple" popular.

Oh you remember when an Apple was a fruit? Well that's funny because it still is, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

JUST a fruit. there's a difference.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

8| I thought you were referring to the fruit. I figured that apples (fruit) had been around MUCH longer. I need sleep.
