+465 Sometimes when you're playing an instrument or singing in a choir, you have to fake it because it's too tough, amirite?

only if you're terrible

During a concert, I was so sick I had to lip sync. Not that I minded~

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i did feel like playing all the right notes so i did that for half a hour total tonite

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sucks when you want to do that but then you realize that you should probably actually play the solo.

and at least in 4th grade when every one had to be in music class/ chorus you blended in with all the delinquents.

I'm too good to have to fake anything.

I play bassoon..... jussayin'

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't even know what that is... What is it?

Only the coolest double-reed instrument ever

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Double reed? What? Maybe I'll just Google it. Lol.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's like a giant oboe..... only way better.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Bassoons are frakkin' awesome... One of my best friend plays one.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Best instrument ever.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, I wouldn't disagree with you on that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That doesn't really work when you're in a 4 man rock band, :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Mostly the notes aren't hard, its the tempo thats difficult to keep up with. But when there are only three others in your section and you're the only one who actually plays out...you kinda hafta play

I play the trombone for my high school's advanced band, and the only time I've ever had to fake it was when I've been incredibly sick. And that's including when I first started playing two years ago.

If you stare straight ahead at your music and pretend like you're focusing, no one even notices.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When I was in 4th/5th grade, I took violin lessons during class hours, but never learned how to play it. During concerts, I just pretended... I guess I was good at pretending? My bow just hovered over the strings.. XD.

I don't because there's only one other euphonium and chances are he's even more lost than I am. Plus after the first time we play it I don't get lost to begin with.

I was a sixth grade saxophone player in the eighth grade band years ago. I faked it a lot.
