When someone compliments you on something specific, send them back a compliment on the same thing. Often they are self conscious to some extent over it, which is why they noticed it on you. You might just make their day, amirite?

&Yes, I know, they aren't necessarily self conscious at all and are just like "yo cool shoes man", but you know what I mean. :S A compliment's still a compliment. Everyone appreciates them.

wow i actually learned something thanks! i mean i thought about the times i compliment people. one thing i always notice is how white someones teeth are. because on facebook i guess its the camera flash or something but some peoples teeth look like white paint. and im trying to get my teeth that white. almost there! but thanks for teaching me that ill keep it in mind on complimenting people.
