Alright I'm not going to get into this because you seem snarky as hell. You know there's a difference between killing an animal and killing a plant. I know that eating a plant kills it, I'm not dumb. I'm just saying that its more humane than the way most animals are killed.

I think the fact that plants don't scream and shout makes it seem humane, but think about picking up a guy and biting into him/her? Just relentlessly eating them while they're still alive and breathing. I would compare eating vegetables to abortion (I know it's pushing it, but...) think of it this way. If those babies screamed and fought when they were being killed, then less people would probably go through with it. In the same manner, if trees screamed when you chopped them down, then less people would cut them? I guess what I'm trying to get at is the whole sense of voicelessness?

Regardless, plants don't have brains. I share a certain amount of similar DNA with any given animal (i.e. cow, pig, etc) and though i share some DNA with plant matter, the amount is beyond microscopic.

So it being different means it's okay for you to kill it? What if plants do have pain and suffering, but it's in a way that we can't understand it? For example if aliens come to this planet and they enjoy getting shot and it's not painful to them, doesn't mean something else can't hurt them. Or if their response to pain is laughter, doesn't mean they aren't being hurt. If candy makes them feel good and feeling good is bad for them, that means we should probably stop giving them candy. I'm not saying plants are like that, but they could have a whole different sense of pain and gain, that we probably don't understand and we could be hurting them without understanding it....

I mean it's one thing to unknowingly do something bad, but to try to insult someone when they try to educate you on something is just... outstanding. You know as well as I do that what you're doing is barbaric, picking on something that can't defend itself and further yet something that has spent it's entire life providing YOU with oxygen to breathe. You return it's favour with death? Not even an honourable one as such. Cooking it, eating it, and then laying the rest to waste. Then you defend yourself by saying they don't have a "brain" and that it's okay to kill something living, something that works all it's life without even asking for a break, something that hasn't been anything less than good to...

You are saying, because you're a vegetarian, you can be excluded from this post (otherwise thinks you're better than everyone), but the fact is you do the same as meat eaters or omnivores. I never said anything directly linked to being "better" than anything. I just stated that I don't eat animals, which have brains, and when I eat plants, I don't march for them like a nazi-hyena. And technically, since I'm vegetarian, I'm NOT like you, because I don't eat things with brains or nerves. And you could argue your whole little contention about how maybe plants are screaming and whatever and whatever, but it would be completely useless since you eat them. I would listen inf you didn't eat any plant matter whatsoever, but since you do, i suppose your argument is completely pointless, now, isn't it. Mind you, that's more hypocritical than an elephant urging people to go on a diet. (wow! a talking elephant!)

So if a murderer tells you not to murder, does that mean you'll go on a killing spree? If a thief tells you thievery is bad, does that means it's good? According to your logic, if a rapist tells you rape is bad, then chances are you'll rape someone. Good thing I don't personally know you! Here are the facts (things we know for sure): 1. Plants are living. 2. Plants (unless you're stupid won't do you harm, although animals can hurt anyone) 3. Plants have a job in their environment, one that is more important than an animals. 4. Plants die. SO the fact that YOU only target the helpless plants makes you WORSE than me. I at least give them a break once in a while. However you consistently go after (only) them and murder them. BUT THEN and here comes the worst part, you try to make ME look like the bad guy.

What are we suppose to eat? I daresay that one of the main reasons that plants are on earth is for a food resource for many creatures including humans.
