+243 Walking in to Subway with a suitcase, some 15 year old delinquent purposely rushes past me to get there first. While looking back at his 2 friends; laughing a little and clearly rellishing in his manouever, he overshoots the start of the Subway queue and goes straight to the till. I calmly wait at the end, and get served first, much to his clear displeasure. Justice is served, amirite?

www.mylifeisaverage.com Go there. We don't care here.

Considering Ant was my best mate growing up, I'll continue to support his site - thanks :) The comment was more aimed at the young teenagers in Britain not knowing their place and then, every so often, they mess up and you get a nice warm feeling inside knowing that, for once, you're not the one getting fucked over as a result of their actions.

([TMD]Sam): Well, support Anthony but phrasing your post like an opinion. "It's sucks when someone rushes in front of you in line, but it's sweet justice when they inadvertently get served last, amirite?" Or something to that effect.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sorry to contradict your circle-jerk ways of formatting an 'amirite?' post. fml.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's not my 'circle jerk way of formatting an amirite post: "Your post should make sense as a question and be something people can answer. That means, dont post something about your friend Jim that people who don't know him won't be able to answer." It's your 'best mate', Anthony's way of formatting.

Man people take this stuff far too seriously. But if we're really going there... "Hilarious: The weddings in which you know they spent a fortune and yet, everything looks average and people still complain about something, amirite?" (Etherial; 2011). I'd hardly say that is a question right up until the end. Oh! Would you look at that?! My post ends as a question too! The only difference is, you didn't subjectify a person/people in it! Now, open your front door and go for a nice walk in the outdoors. I'd do the same, but it's 02:13 here and I really need to sleep :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're right. Often times, it's really tough to try and phrase an experience in the form of an opinion. This includes my post, as well. :) But, without a doubt, the ones that do well, are the ones that people can relate to the most aka the ones people have an opinion on. You increase your chances of this by avoiding posts that tell a personal experience/story, as per MLIA and FML. Which was my original point.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No...your original reply as spoken as the right royal 'we' and basically told be to fuck off, supposedly on behalf of everyone on here.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Most people on here DON'T care for personal stories, unlike MLIA. Anyway, no need to get into a tiffy about anything. Sweet dreams dude. xD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So you're telling me that the majority of posts on here are NOT based on personal stories?! You're talking crap! Most, if not all, posts on here must be based on 'a' personal story, else there'd be no way of gaining an opinion that would stimulate someone to post.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The point of amirite is to find a way to phrase your personal experience into a format so that others can comment on it. (Either by voting or by literally commenting.) Today I went to Subway, etc. completely defeats this purpose.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Umm... I'm pretty sure the purpose of amirite is to state your opinion and see if people agree with it not, which is what OP did. The only people on here anymore who care about MLIA are people like you who flip shit at anything worded in a way you don't like, thus causing more annoyance than someone posting a 'personal' opinion.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol you are a huge dick.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Your post is worded just fine.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How did this get homepaged??

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ant put it there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, cool dude. Didn't know that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I thought you were talking about a subway station and i got all confused. In any case enjoy your sandwich i guess.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ahh it makes sense now! I don't know anything about subway stations(never been on/in one) so I was rather confused.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's too lengthy and the only debate this story is getting is that it was taken from my life is fucking average.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're complaining because the post is a whole three sentences?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I'm complaining because it's too bloody descriptive which wasn't needed. Don't treat to me like I'm an idiot.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok. So now you're complaining because OP used too many adjectives to give you a better mental picture?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It was like telling a short story, this site is for a short anecdote style. Don't talk to me like I am fucking 12 years old, I just know what made a good story and what makes one drag.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So now you're complaining because you really are 12 and can't pay attention to a whole 3 sentences?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you can stop with your immature banter now. I thought mods were meant to be the calming force, make jokes and make this site look good. You do none of that. Utter shit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I defend users when others such as yourself are attacking them for no reason at all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, it actually did happen to me. @1029618 (Taja_Rage): Thank you!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No worries.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's like a sophisticated sounding MLIA post. Well done.
