Also about speak, english, and language+66While the stereotype of Americans is that they expect everyone to speak English, even when they're not in English-speaking countries, Americans you know or have met in non-English-speaking countries either tried to speak the native language, or were a bit embarrassed that they didn't know any of it, amirite?

Also about english and language-184The reason why non-English speaking countries tend to have higher standardized test scores is probably because their populous cannot reduce a conversation to texting language. If they were to use text speaak as we do, they would have to have some basic knowledge of English in the first place, translate their thoughts and then type poorly, which in itself is more mental exercise, amirite?

Also about speak, english, and language+226It's weird how people in the U.S get so annoyed when Hispanics live here and speak Spanish. How would you feel if you had to move to another country, and you didn't know the language yet? Also, even if you did know the language, you'd still speak your English to your family and friends anyway. amirite?
