I wonder if British schools have class prime minsters instead of class presidents, amirite?

i live in canada and my highschool has a school prime minister:)

Yea we have a whole student council, and are Prime Minister is the best. The make smores for us somedays, hot chocolate, and through laser tagghing parties, us vs the staff !

In British schools (well every one I've been to) there are prefects. At my current school we have prefects, all from year 12, who are like the official committee that organise a bunch of stuff, then a student representative from each form class to make the student council, who can take their issues to the prefects to make changes in the school. Kinda complicated, but it works really well :)

Oh there's this whole big interview process and the final decision is made by the headmaster and the teachers and the previous year's prefects.

Lol yeah, and there's like categories for prefect like "environment prefect" or "service prefect" or "student welfare prefect" so you have to have proper requirements for the portfolio you wanna go for. I went for creative and service, but you can only be in one portfolio so I got service prefect, if you read my "about me" thing you'll see why :D

We had prefects in my school too but they were just voted by other students. It was a pretty big deal to a lot of people because it was voted by students it was just a big popularity contest.

You're not serial? America was the turning point of WWI and WWII. I'm not even American and I've accepted how badass America is. During WWI France and Germany had been at a stalemate for 4 years, but the French had lost way more soldiers than the Germans AND so had the British. In WWII, Germany was totally raping everyone in the butt, except for the USSR, until Japan bombed Pearl Harbour and US decided to join in and then Hitler decided to declare war against America (big mistake) because America was like, "FUCK YOU" and slapped Hitler in his face with their massive dick. True story. I'm taking a history course on purely war in the 20th century, trust me, I know what I'm talking about. @1125051 (danilol): Oh c'mon I was just funning around, don't be mad :[

well technically, American school presidents are actually school Prime ministers. A prime minister is someone who has been accepted to rule by a higher power, since School 'presidents' are only empowered through the grace of the staff they are in fact prime ministers.

We have prefects yes but they don't really have power tbh, it's just something to put on your CV and whatever. Our school government though is the student council :)

Head Boy/Girl. Great. I think everyone said something different. But at least one Canadian said their school has a class prime minister. Somehow there's a comment about WWII that has a +11. I haven't really followed the longer comment threads. Thx 4 ur input <3
