if i recall correctly, the dessert portion made you swell up into what the dessert tasted like. no thank you

You could be thinking of Extra's attempt at making dessert gum, some of those are really nasty. The Wonka gum would taste exactly like the food.

Nah, it's the actual meal part that freaks me out. Just something about it sounds so nasty haha

It does not really freak me out, but I do not think that I would use this gum if I could help it (only if I didn't have time to eat it), mostly because food also depends on texture, tenderness, etc. Gum could only provide the exact same experience with a different taste; steak and pie should not have the same texture. Also, I do not remember nutrients, calories, or vitamins being mentioned (I could be wrong), so it really would not work out.

Yeah I think it's mostly a texture thing for me. It's just seems to unnatural to chew the flavor of a meal out of a piece of gum. Part of the reason is probably also because I really just hate gum in general lol
