It's kind of awkward when you meet someone for the first time and you know a whole bunch of random things about them because of a mutual friend, amirite?

It's really awkward if it's because you've been stalking them.
"Hi, I'm _."
"I know, I was just looking at your Facebook pictures earli- I mean, nice to meet you!"

My friends and I were just talking about this! Weird (:

I recently met someones girlfriend. He talks about her all the time so I'm just like "Are you _?"
At the end she said "Thanks for knowing who I was!" and gave me a hug.

It's also awkward when you're on the receiving end and realize your friend has told something about you to a stranger.
"Hi, I'm _."
"Oh, so you're the one who... Errm, I mean nice to meet you!"

It's always nice to be judged by people who don't even know you.
