Uh, no? Because if it stays red even if you've already read it, how else is it supposed to go off? it stays red UNTIL you read it because clicking on the messages means "I've seen this stuff, i'm done now." It works just like any "you got mail" notification from yahoomail or gmail, if you click it, it shows you the email, then the alert disappears. It doesn't make much sense if I get an alert saying "So-So replied to your post", and have that red alert stay there forever. amirite?
