The second and third Hunger Games books, I hated the writing of the first so I think it's safe to say the other two would be pretty bad to me too.

I hated every character in the first book save for Cinna, and then only because he reminded me of a friend of my mothers. I thought Katniss was a fucking moron, Peeta was worse, there was something seriously wrong with the capitol (whatever) in letting them live... Half of what she wrote I swear she stole from Battle Royale. I can't even pass the books in store without my brain going into rage overdrive.

I haven't read Battle Royale, but I've heard the whole thing about Hunger Games stealing from it. I just can't stand a book with unrelatable characters who never evolve.
