Ha. At work, one of my responsibilities is coming up with slogans and branding.

Oh, and you wouldn't get paid "thousands" of dollars for a slogan. If you don't work at the company that you're producing the slogan for, you'd get paid on an on-call/contract work (read: hourly) scale because of budgeting. Most of your payment would be for a set total of labor hours, not what you produce. If you're lucky, they might bring you on full-time. If not, they'll call on you when they need you again. That's how it works.
