+248 Sometimes I think that all the teenagers out there text on their phones in public just to make themselves look cool and popular. Especially when it's all the little kids ages 7-11 who have phones. I mean, who do they text all day... amirite?

Teenagers are 13-19. 7-11 year old kids are still KIDS. Don't complain about teenagers, when you are talking about kids that are trying to be teenagers.

Okay, so I can't complain about to things at once.. oh I'm sorry.. I don't think I read your rules on how to post on this site. I better check that out. Asshole.

What are you like 80 or something? They are texting their friends! You know, having a conversation! Who the fuck do you think they are texting? Just because you have to ring your great-granddaughter to ask where the send button is on your nokia 5110, LMFAO!

by Anonymous 14 years ago

if he would have to call someone, he obviously knows where the send button is.

I have to text my mom sometimes:( I'm not trying to be cool. I mean if I call and it's in a public place you can never hear what she's saying.

Everytime I took my iTouch out in public, a lot of people thought I was texting . . . when really I was writing Harry Potter fanfiction.

I just pretend to text a lot in public while I'm waiting for someone or else I just feel awkward standing there...

the worst part of texting to feel un-awkward in public is those who dont have cells phones feel even more awkward when they see peolpe with cells

Not trying to be a hypocrite (even though I probably sound like one), i text sometimes too because it can be quick and easy; but on the other hand, I enjoy spending time with people In PERSON. Also, a lot of my friends got phones before me, and I felt weird whne they used them around me.
