it takes a lot more then a few random compliments to help a girl with self esteem issues. if you really want to make one of us feel better, you have to remind us constantly that you really do care for us and think were pretty.

xD yes i don't mean like everyday, i just mean more then just every once and a while.t. just be careful with what you say, even if you don't mean for it to be insulting girls will take it that way.

I think a lot of the time they're just fishing for compliments. And it's obnoxious. This pretty and thin girl i knew used to do it so often that i eventually gave up and just said "Yeah, you are" whenever she'd say she was fat or ugly.

Some girls are fishing for compliments and it's really annoying, but some girls just don't say certain things because they don't want to sound like they are fishing because they are not. I don't say certain things sometimes for risk of sounding fishing when I'm not. Sometimes no one has ever called them pretty or beautiful and they just need to hear it, because deep down they know it's true, they just need a little reassurance.
