+248 It's really sad when a popular, seemingly happy person commits suicide. It really is the last person you'd suspect, amirite?

It's equally sad when a depressed person commits suicide, it's just more of a shock when someone who appears to be happy does it. You wouldn't believe how good people are at hiding their feelings.

Isn't it sadder the person who commits suicide that nobody ever gave a chance to be popular or even have someone notice whether they are happy or not? Suicide is sad yes. Because someone suffering like that is horrible. To imply it is more horrible to happen to people with support is insanity.

I saw this and realised i should add something so i don't just look like a bitter jerk. I myself have struggled with the question "Is death sadder if you see it coming or if you never expected it at all?" but its just sad either way. But not for those who are no longer here to be sad. Its only sad for the people left behind. You can't help the dead so comfort the living. Maybe the comfort of the living will comfort the dead.

it is very sorrowful when anyone commits.. it doesnt matter if they were "popular" or not, everyone that commits was thinking the same thing. that, that is the only way out.

It's weird how this was posted one day after a person who fits this description committed suicide at my school...

Some might think its weird that both the original and this were posted anonymously leaving no proof they are not the same person. It could be a coincidence, or it could have so much meaning behind it you will go mad trying to figure it out. The possibilities are endless.
