+260 You can't really drink kool aid right after you make it. You either put ice in it, which melts instantly since it's room temperature, watering down your drink and taking out all the flavor, or you have to put it in the fridge for 3 hours before you can drink it. Amirite?

I usually just poison it and hand it to the cult members straight away. Putting it in the fridge tends to make the poison drift the bottom, meaning the first people to drink it die slowly, whereas the people drinking it last die right off the bat. As we're all supposed to enter Heaven together, that clearly isn't ideal.

I usually add less water than recommended, and then add ice.

but then when it is cold, you add even more ice and it doesn't melt right away. So you have super strong kool aid

I don't add a LOT less water, but I do like my mixed-powdered beverages slightly stronger than the container recommends. So, if it's a little strong, it's not a huge deal.

Is it weird that I've never had Kool Aid in my life?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes.

Why not just use cold water when you're making it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because cold water from the sink isn't that cold. It's not like i mean i use boiling water when i make it.

Powder dissolves better in warmer water. Idk if it really makes a difference though...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Meh, I like hot kool aid. :3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why don't you just make it with ice water?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

whats wrong with room-temperature cool aid?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Slightly warm water makes powder dissolve faster. So, put about 1/4 of the required water in it warm water, mix it til the powder is dissolved, then put the other 3/4 (or less, if you like it strong) water required as icy water. Problem solved.

Brutha, I made this hot kool aid for you. DRINK IT OR I'LL POUR IT ON THE FLOOR AND BLAME IT ON YOU!

Better than cinnamon toast and mayonnaise. Just saying. =P
