You do not know what you're talking if you have never had the comfort of a snuggie. Like, let's say that you just have a blanket over your lap, but your arms are cold! So you put the blanket higher but it falles down! So you put a snuggie on. Problem solved. You'd look silly with a ro- Wait...

I honestly don't understand people's obsession with hating Snuggies and the like. They're products designed to make one's life easier, just like a sweater. I don't get why it's so deplorable to get one. It's not like it costs a ridiculous amount of money, and even if it did, it's the spender's choice. It doesn't hurt you in any way. The sweater and robe cost money too. These products make things more comfortable and accessible, and if that offends you, you have problems. And furthermore, I don't give a damn.

Agreed 100% (and I'm happy to say my snuggie was a PRESENT, a rather lame one at that) but they ARE made out of way warmer and softer fabric than most robes, and most robes only go to your knees. Just saying. :)

Why does everybody feel the need to hate on Snuggies? If you don't like them then don't use them. They aren't really even backwards robes. Very similar, yes, but still different. Snuggies are made of fleece while most robes I've seen are made out of terry cloth, and as Joan_hello_kitty said they are different lengths. Snuggies are also designed with the back open (although the latest versions Velcro at the neck) instead of the front because they are intended for use when sitting unlike robes, which are intended for movement. Seriously people, if you are going to insult them at least know what you are talking about.
