-196 Theres something male flutists and clarinettists should know about how girls think of them. A guy who plays flute is assumed to be gay, but he's thought to make a good friend. Guys who play the clarinet, on the other hand, are the perfect mix of masculine and feminine that a girl wants to date, amirite?

actually the girls at my school don't think I am gay they either think I am pervert or some shit while other people who have common sense just think that I am learning an instrument

Eh the only guy I know who plays clarinet is a fucking creep and I would never date him ever. Don't know any flute players.

I present to you case A for the defense: My acquaintance, "Linda". On October 21, 2010, she and a friend of mine, "Sam", started dating. Sam plays the clarinet. People who don't know him think he's gay. People who do think he's a great friend, but rarely ever think of him as date material. They officially lasted nearly 4 months, but really, she started breaking away from him a month into the relationship. On May 13, 2011, she and another acquaintance "Bob" started dating in secret. Bob plays the flute. People who don't know him think he's straight. People who do tend to think he's a decent friend but unemotional at times, and thusly sounding fake when he talks. They are still together.
