True. I gather what you're referring to is American politics, where there are far more people on Amirite who support the Democrat party than the Republican party. But, at least there are members on this site who are part of groups that don't have much representation, so that we can still hear the point of view - whether it be from a Republican, someone from a small under-represented country, someone with a disability - that differs from the majority.

That's true, but I was also refering to just Americans in general. My guess would be the biggest chunk of the Amirite population is female Americans. I think it's great that so many different people can talk and share their opinions and beliefs on here, everyone can be heard no matter how radical or ordinary their belief system is. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Yeah, same. And, I often lurk on posts where there's an argument in the comments section, on topic I didn't know much about before. Plus, it would suck if everyone was just agreeing with one another. Everyone, no matter if they try not to, has some degree of bias, and you have to hear multiple people's opinions on something, and read content from both sides to formulate your own opinion. I think I saw a statistic a while ago, a little over 70% of Amiriters are female, and I dunno the exact statistics, but I'd gather to say the majority are American, which is likewise with most Internet sites.

Yes, that's exactly right and I do that too. It irks me when people say that they are completely unbiased, because like you said, no one really is. It's human nature.

Thanks :p Yeah, like, because I was thinking a lot about it that night, and yeah, we all do have bias in regards to everything, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't just go, oh well, my opinion isn't valid, it's just bias. Nor should someone take an "oh well, everyone is right, and everyone is wrong" approach to most things.

Exactly. And then there's the fact that you can hardly ever say anything without someone saying that you only think that way because you are biased. Or that it's "offensive". People completely over-complicate things.
