+173 The best thing to hear for a wise, thinking person is a rebuttal or disagreement. The saddest thing to hear is an agreement or echo, amirite?

With this logic, I should "No Way" every post that I like.

Is anyone else confused?

Just throwing something out there, but I read this post as someone who likes to give and explain their opinions. When someone agrees, they have no chance to explain why their opinion is what it is. It would be a little saddening, especially if a lot of thought went into it.

Is anyone else still confused?

Yeah, kinda like that I was reading a lot of Plato and Socrates theory when I wrote this, and basically the Greek Philosophers believed the ideal conversation or argument wasn't one that you "won", but one in which you gained new knowledge.

I am pretty much always right, but always being right is no fun unless you have some incorrect people to outsmart in an argument.

Not always. A reply that builds on it is also nice. I don't think every wise person is always looking for an argument.
