+342 Sometimes you're sort of proud that you and your significant other resist the temptation to be disgustingly sappy and cutesy like so many other couples. There's nothing wrong with just being... normal... with your special someone, amirite?

If only more people thought of their boyfriend/girlfriend as a best friend.

There's nothing at all wrong with being sappy and cutesy. It's fun and another way to express your feelings. There are definitely places/times where it's inappropriate but most of the time there's nothing wrong with it/ it's not not normal.

Hence the first word: Sometimes. Being cutesy can be fun sometimes, too, but not if you're glued to your bf's tonsils, and can't go ten seconds without calling him shnookums! I think I can safely say NO ONE appreciates those couples.

haha I didn't know other people used the name Schnookums! That makes me happy. I think the kissing all the time isn't good, but using a nickname like Schnookums all the time in place of a real name isn't too big of a deal. I know who appreciates those couples: old people. They think it's ADORABLE!
