So? I don't see why Harry Potter and Twilight are always compared, the only thing they have in common is both were fictional books that got turned into movies.

Yes, they are fantasy, but their being popular among teens and having a large dedicated fan base isn't a similarity in the actual book that makes their story lines comparable.

I'd like to see when and why they first started being compared all the time. One is a love story (I think, I've never read it) or something, the other is about fighting evil and shizz.

can you clarify which one is the love story and which one is, as you put it, the "fighting evil and shiz"? I hardly think Twilight qualifies as an actual love story..

Twilight, from what I understand, is a love triangle between a werewolf, a vampire, and a girl. No where in there do I see a fight between good and evil, and no where in Harry Potter did I interpret any of it as being a story where the main objective of the series was love, so I'm confused as to why you could possibly not know which story I was referring to each description. Whether or not you consider Twilight to be an actual love story should be irrelevant to your frontal lobe in the decision making where you'd decide that which one was fighting evil and which one was a love story, despite your personal qualifications of what counts as an actual love story. Quite frankly, I'm sure you already knew which was which as you had said "I hardly think Twilight qualifies as an actual love story.."

Actually, the post is implying that Twilight's ending was lame compared to Harry Potter's, no where in there was it mentioned that anyone gave a rat's ass about the rest of the series.

Am I the only one sick of all this crap about Twilight and Harry Potter? Although I think Twilight is poorly written, comparing apples and oranges makes no sense. Plus, it's time to find new jokes.
