+423 At least once, when you were really mad, you vowed to stop talking to someone in your family, only to slip up an hour later. Giving the silent treatment requires a lot more effort than it's worth, amirite?

I once went without talking to my brother for a total of twenty-two hours. He was so upset he cried. It was awesome.

Older or younger?

Younger. At the time we were 7 and 5, I think.

2 weeks, against my mom. Can anyone 1-up that?

Depends... Was this a vacation or just at home? Cause that's impressive/insane for holding a grudge that long

Just at home during a school year.

Yepp, I haven't talked to my mom since I was twelve, I'm twenty. Although I was legally emancipated if that still counts.

On time I held out on speaking to my entire family for over a day. They kept trying to get me to slip up, but I never did.

My mom won't let me go on my band's spring trip to Disneyland over spring break (I've never been to Disney), so I tried to not speak to her until she let me go... It didn't work at all.
