I kinda disagree. Some pokemon are definitely fucking retarded, but In my opinion the good outweighs the bad

I dunno, over all wise, sure. But purely pokemon wise, no. Most of the names are just horrible, they have somewhat limited or just horrible move sets and they're base stats are......just wild! This one pokemon was looking good and awesome, then we found out its ability makes it lose half its attack and special attack strength when it goes under 50%

I disagree whole-heartedly. This gen's pokemon designs are some of my all-time favorites. And people tend to comlain about all the bad puns in the names this time around, but the thing is that the japanese names also are full of puns. You just don't get them so the names sound cooler. And in terms of graphics, yeah the battle graphics can be a bit pixely at times, but that's just the ds's graphical limitations. Hey at least they didn't try making 3D sprites.

Puns have been there since gen 1. My favorite in this gen is sandile-it sounds like sandal, a kind of shoe, just like crocs, which are named after crocodiles. I think half the new ones look cool and half look like shit.
