People kept telling you that Of Mice and Men was a good book, so throughout the book you were waiting for something drastic and exciting to take place. But it never really did, amirite?

Yeah, it was okay, but the way the book built it up I thought it would be more than that. It was a good book, but I think it would have been better if Steinbeck made it longer and more things happened before Lennie died. It just felt like it would be more, since I could have predicted most of the ending.
