@Victor_Kosov What if the OPTIONS for what you are able to come back as are decided upon how you lived your life, so the way you lived unlocks more and more choices, so you still get some kind of a say

Yah, we try and do good, we've come so far and achieved so much, but we are also one of the most selfish and destructive species. If the point of reincarnation is to reach some kind of perfection, Humans have a long way to go. A lot of our behavior is no better than the common animal.

If everything is inherently neutral, then reincarnation has no true purpose. Every action is on the same level so there's no where to evolve to with each life. The way I've understood it, you're supposed to learn something with each life to ultimately reach some kind of state of enlightenment. But if everything is just what it is, then there's nothing to be enlightened about because nothing is more than what it's always been. Unless that itself is the point of what you're meant to learn, there is no good and evil, there's just what is.
