Universal healthcare: Good enough for Pokémon, good enough for America... amirite?
by Anonymous14 years ago
I don't know whether to love you or to kill you
by Anonymous14 years ago
Love. Most certainly.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I faved this because you used the accent over the "e". :P
by Anonymous14 years ago
Are you really comparing pokemon to people. Health Care? stupid.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You? Stupid.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Win. (:
by Anonymous13 years ago
You? obviously probably don't know what's so bad about health care.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Me? Wickedawesome.
by Anonymous13 years ago
No i don't think so.
by Anonymous13 years ago
shutup bitch, its a joke
by Anonymous13 years ago
AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT? HUH? HUH? THATS RIGHT YOU DON'T, SO WHY DON'T YOU SHUTUP?
by Anonymous13 years ago
AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT IT'S NOT A JOKE? HUH? HUH? THATS RIGHT YOU DON'T, SO WHY DON'T YOU SHUTUP?
Or at least type normally.

This post clearly was meant to be a joke, don't take it so seriously.
by Anonymous13 years ago
let's compare our country to a video game..
by Anonymous13 years ago
Pokemon can't be compared to this. I love Pokemon, but America is more serious. In the game, people aren't arrested for not getting health care, and you don't see the characters dishing out money to an overspending government.
by Anonymous13 years ago
No one's getting arrested for not having health care in real life either. :/
by Anonymous13 years ago
If you don't pay for government run health care [I think I worded that wrong] you can get heavily fined and/or arrested.
by Anonymous13 years ago
oixoutheye is right.
You DON'T get arrested, you get fined. And there are subsidies.
Sources?: I've been living under a "government run health care" for 28 years.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Just because it's run by the government doesn't mean all of the policies are the same.
by Anonymous13 years ago
And just because it's run by the government, it doesn't mean you can automatically assume you would get arrested for not paying
BTW -- There will STILL be private hospitals/clinics. Especially in "profit" America. Just less however.
So if you would rather pay than wait. Go right ahead.
Sources?: We still got lots of them in Canada. ;)

Lol Pokemon center, and everyone gets healed
by Anonymous13 years ago
if you cant pay for the health care then what makes them think you can pay a fine?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wasn't aware that Pokémon centers healed people....
by Anonymous13 years ago
They don't, but maybe the pokemons pay taxes so they don't have to pay to get healed.
by Anonymous13 years ago
My Charizard will eat any IRS agents that want to take his hard earned battle money.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I love the post, and find the enthusiasm people still have to discuss this subject is fascinating, you really care. Or you just don't want to be proven wrong.. Health care FTW!
by Anonymous13 years ago
I personally find universal healthcare pointless.
by Anonymous13 years ago
For you.
But you don't speak for the millions of Americans who can't afford medical care.
Health care would be their only chance.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well, you're paying for it soo.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because we should run our country based on a childrens' cartoon. Don't get me wrong, I like Pokemon, but universal healthcare? No way.
by Anonymous13 years ago
"Why can't we be friends? Why can't we be friends?"
"Because everyone hates each other."
"Oh."
