+301 When you really love or respect a band, you actually go to the store and buy their physical CDs, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What's the point? you're just going to burn them into iTunes and put them on your iPod anyway.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, but it makes me feel like I really support them.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not sure. I guess because everyone nowadays only gets albums on iTunes, so my taking the time to actually get the CD makes me feel like a true fan. Not sure if it makes sense.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It makes sense, but I don't think that how much you like something should reflect on how much time/money you spend. It should reflect on how much you genuinely like the music, movie, etc.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, of course. I didn't mean I buy CD's just to feel like a better fan, I meant I buy the CD's because I already am a great fan.

I always buy CDs anyway

i buy cd's and i listen to them about 10 times each before i remember to put them on itunes. and i don't waste my battery at night with my ipod and listen to it. i pop in a cd and listen to that.

I download all of my music, but if I find myself listening to an album I really like I'll go out of my way and buy it on vinyl.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nah, mostly because if I really love a band, I download it really early the day of release. Be a bit extreme to drive to a store at 2am for one CD.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I always buy the cd's. I feel better after I do. Idk why though.
