I don't hate myself... or feel the need to.

Sick.

I like gingers. Red and reddish brown haired girls are some of the prettiest and hottest people I've seen. Dark brown is still my favourite though...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

No, I think red hair is beautiful or cool-looking on most people.

I don't get how a hair colour makes someone less or more attractive.

Picture a celebrity you like, now change their hair color to the opposite (I.e black to blonde, brown to red or vice versa) do they still look the same?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

@rowanne: no they don't look the same. now they have a different hair color.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

They look different, but a change hair colour doesn't make someone suddenly ugly or unattractive. They just look - different.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm not saying that it will always change how attractive they are, but it can definitely have an affect. For instance, I know I would look a lot less attractive if I had blonde hair because it would look weird with my complexion. Just as a sidenote: this whole discussion is unrelated to the post as I've never perceived someone to be better/worse solely based on their red hair.

Of course, nor have I. But i still believe you find someone 'attractive' because of their facial features, and hair colour, weight and skin colour are just minor minor contributing factors, but they don't sway you either way. Like i am going to find Zac Efron extremely atrractive even if he dyes his hair blonde or gains a few pounds. Although i suppose if he did both dye his hair and gain weight, those factor together may make me hestitate.

Hair color can bring out different skin tones, though. If your hair color makes you look washed out, people might notice that before they see your other facial features. Then if you dye your hair a more flattering color, people are more likely to notice your other features.

I still don't think it determinds whether you think someone is 'ugly' or not.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Again, it's not usually the determining factor, but it does make a difference.
