+555 It would be really cool if twin sisters married twin brothers, have kids that actually looks the same to the point that other people think they're twins! amirite?

Kinda sounds like the plot to a despicable rom com!

Could that kinda be like being siblings even though they are cousins, since the parents are identical twins to the other couple? Google time.

I've heard they be closer than cousins but not quite siblings

I saw a story like this on TV. Weird thing was that they were all born on the same day, as were there kids...

*their. Can't believe I made that mistake. O.O

If twin sisters married twin brothers-they would be marrying their inlaws wouldn't they? If 1 of the sisters gets married to one of the brothers, the other 2 would be inlaws. They may not be technically related, but its still sort of creepy isnt it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've heard of pairs of siblings marrying before. . .

No.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

NOT IF THEY GET MARRIED AT THE SAME TIME!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's the first thing that I thought of when I read this.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they would look really similar but not exactly the same still

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The two sets of twins (the kids) would resemble each other like regular siblings so they wouldn't necessarily look like twins.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that happened with an old babysitter of mine. SO COOL except neither couple has had kids yet

My dad has a twin and even though my mom and my dad's brother's wife isn't my mom's twin, I still look A LOT like my cousin. Like, pretty much identical

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It would only work, I believe, if they are both identical twins to start with getting married.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So, would a foursome be like a mirror?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have a cousin where my dad and his mom are brother and sister and my mom and his dad are sister and brother...so its kinda the same but I don't think we look identical...

On top of everything already said, they would both have to go through the same meiosis, and have no mutations in their germ cells or gametes... but it is possible, the chance is just less than 1/3 trillion. Just like a child can be "identical" to an older/younger sibling... it just is such a small probability it doesn't happen.
